As many of you know, I normally do not post my own material. More often than not, I post news articles I find
scattered across the internet. Today, I decided to try to put down in print some of the things that have been
bubbling up from inside me.
I teach public high school. This is a horror all unto itself. Time and time again, I will make a statement which I feel
should be common knowledge and I am met with blank stares. Many kids who stay with me for a semester or two
eventually ask the following question, “How do you know so much?” My instant reply, “I do not own a gaming system
so I read a lot.”
Yesterday I read a speech by Teddy Roosevelt which he made a speech in 1910. In this speech, he says
something I have been feeling in my gut for years. He says:
It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds
could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by
dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no
effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms,
the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high
achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with
those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.
So, I have to ask to following.
Where are the men who are willing to stand in the arena and fight the good fight? Where are the “minutemen” of
our generation? We are being attacked from within and from without. Drugs are flooding into your country through
our nonexistent border. Illegal aliens who are fugitives from their homeland, guilty of the vilest crimes, they are
moving into your neighborhoods. Murders, pedophiles, drug pushers and kidnappers are setting up residence in
your communities. The FBI says over 293,000 American females have been kidnapped and sold into prostitution
for use both here and abroad. Many of these are underage. Those who bring the highest dollar are blond haired,
blue eyes baby girls.
Don’t get me wrong. There are many good, legal immigrants who are assimilating into your country and are proud
to be called Americans. However, I fear they are the minority. My daughter in-law is from Paraguay. She will be
sworn in as an American citizen on 9 July 09. She is so proud to be called an American it brings tears to her eyes.
Unfortunately, there are people who are actively coming into America to “take back” the South West. They are
called “Reconquista.” They believe they have the right to retake California, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada,
Colorado and Texas. They have a plan and the plan is well underway. By the year 2020, non Hispanics will be the
minority in these states.
The four major Border States are also being infected with 3rd world diseases. Many of these are incurable such as
the new Super TB. Beheadings and satanic mutilations are also on the rise in these states.
The border also is open to “non-Hispanic” illegal border crossings. The U.S. Border Patrol says Arabs are crossing
our open border in waves.
So, I ask again, where are those men who are willing to step into the arena? Where are the watchmen on the wall?
Eze 33:6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming, and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not
warned; if the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity. But I will
require his blood at the watchman’s hand. Eze 33:7 And you, son of man, I have set you a watchman to the house
of Israel. Therefore you shall hear the Word from My mouth, and warn them from Me.
We are also under attack from outside our borders. Some of these attacks are obvious. Afghanistan, Iraq, North
Korea. These are all easily identifiable as problems we must face. However, there are daily attacks you know
nothing about. These are thousands of cyber attacks on our nation every day. They power distribution systems
across the nation are being attacked by hackers every day. The Pentagon says they are hacked more than 100
times an hour. Military base, after military base report their internet and communications systems are attacked on a
regular basis by foreign agents. These are not pimple faced high school kids trying to get in to the network for fun.
These are serious, malicious attacks.
The list of enemies grows daily. However, one enemy I feel we must fear the most is our own behemoth
government. If you read my postings, you are already aware of the dangers. All I am willing to say at the moment
concerning this issue is, “Caveat emptor.”
Caveat emptor is Latin for "Let the buyer beware".[
The WWII generation had millions of brave boys and men volunteering to go and fight against tyranny. Today, I see
a few who are starting to wake up. However, I fear it is too late. Imagine the riots in the street if the Supreme Court
did actually find Obama to be a foreign citizen. If you think the Rodney king riots were bad, you ain’t seen nothing
Do we sit back in fear of the riots and let evil prevail? Do we sit and watch Glenn Beck and quietly raise our hands
in defiance to the government all the while fearing Big Brother might be watching us or reading our emails? Most of
us are so far removed to the reality of our situation that we will not know we have been thrust into the arena until the
lions are munching on our backsides. Then it is too late.
What is it that we fear?
Some of you read the Bible. In the Bible we find verse after verse talking about winning and receiving a crown and
so on. However, many often skip over the difficult verses because they do not fit into our comfortable mold. The
first half of Hebrews 11 is often quoted as the Faith text on a Sunday morning. It speaks of great men and women
of faith and their triumphs. Unfortunately, many pastors do not read to you the second half of the chapter. Let me
share it with you.
(Heb 11:33, 34) Through faith they conquered kingdoms, administered justice, received promises, shut the mouths
of lions, put out raging fires, escaped death by the sword, found strength in weakness, became powerful in battle,
and routed foreign armies.
(Heb 11:35) Women received back their dead through a resurrection. Others were brutally tortured but refused to
accept release, so that they might gain a better resurrection.
(Heb 11:36) Still others endured taunts and floggings, and even chains and imprisonment.
(Heb 11:37) They were stoned to death, sawed in half, and killed with swords. They went around in sheepskins and
goatskins. They were needy, oppressed, and mistreated.
(Heb 11:38) The world wasn't worthy of them. They wandered in deserts, mountains, caves, and holes in the
(Heb 11:39) All these people won approval for their faith but did not receive what was promised,
(Heb 11:40) since God had planned something better for us so that they would not become perfect without us.
Did you notice anything? Yea, some were cut in half because of their faith. Oh, I know, many of you will say God
will not allow that to happen to his church. You better go back and read again. Who were these people referred to
in these verses and why was it important for the author to share? He was writing to the church and warning the
church. All throughout history and even today people of faith are being slaughtered. What makes the American
church think it is better than those who are being burnt alive stoned or beheaded in Islamic countries?
Men, you better start standing in the gap and protecting your families and your once beloved country.
